Ford F550 anit theft relearn (autel ds 780)

     F550 super duty. The bcm was just replaced but now the PATS need to be set up. Iv had no luck located an option to gain security access. Looking for possible solution.. BCM has no listing for security option.

    Someone had just replaced the BCM with A new programmed module. Now there is no crank concern with only this 1 code.

      Hi, when BCM is replaced it needs to be reprogrammed because the new BCM has no anti theft information of the car. 
    So far BCM programming function cannot be supported by DS708. Sorry!

    From what I was told, was that the BCM was programmed but needed the pats reset to finish the repair. 
    Just curious, if the BCM was programmed correctly. Using the ds 780 how would we gain access to the anti theft system?  Should it be listed under BCM or another module? I have watch A you tube video of someone being able to gain security access but it didn't explain the process in getting to that point.

    Hi, if so you can try the route "Start New Session---Control Unit---PCM---Special Function---PATS Functions" and follow the instructions on the screen. Thanks!

     Sorry I didn't see it sooner. The PATS module is in the instrument cluster on these vehicles. Also, will have to do a parameter reset to push the VIN across the modules, switch the key on and off 5 times for 5 seconds each and it should start, if not do a KAM reset and then you'll be good.
